French Carnaval de Québec Activities

When you hear about Carnaval I'm sure you think about the Québec Winter Carnival with Bonhomme Carnaval and all of the exciting winter activities of "Carnaval de Québec". This is one of those winter events that students love to learn about and celebrate. Although not officially a holiday, anyone who is fortunate enough to participate in the numerous activities will surely have many stories to tell upon their return. 

Transport your students to Carnaval through the numerous classroom activities found in this bundle of resources. Here are some examples of what they will enjoy:

How to add French Christmas or Carnaval de Québec into your lessons

Do you teach high school French and want to add Noël or Carnaval activities to your lessons but don't think you can spare many classes on it?

Here's an idea for you! Why not take a class or two and create "work stations" for a variety of activities. The students will get French and Culture practice all at once.

Take a bundle of activities - one activity for each work station that you want to set up. One station could be a simple word search, another could be a crossword puzzle, word scramble activities, sentence scrambles, decoding activities. Right there with that list of activities you have 5 work stations! 

Here are some bundles that you could use for these work stations.  I also love to use matching games as an end of the day activity or for half a class. Great culture and vocabulary practice and very interactive for your students.

Winter is right around the corner for your French class
